Financial Systems Manager

Responsibilities:
- Lead system implementations and upgrades for financial applications (e.g., 3E, Chrome River, Intapp Time).
- Evaluate new solutions, participate in vendor selection, and guide system configuration and testing.
- Manage project plans, functional testing, and coordination with IT and Finance stakeholders.
- Oversee month-end close processes, including reconciliation of WIP, AR, and GL data.
- Troubleshoot issues, coordinate with vendors, and escalate incidents when needed.
- Manage change requests, testing, data validation, and user communication.
- Maintain data quality across financial systems, ensuring accurate calculations, workflows, and business rules.
- Manage application security roles, access permissions, and system controls in partnership with IT.
- Perform routine quality assurance and data integrity checks.
- Create custom SQL queries and reporting solutions using tools such as SSRS.
- Produce ad hoc reports, data extracts, and tailored analyses to support Accounting operations and departments across the firm.
- Manage reporting needs and collaborate with technical teams on data architecture.

- Review workflows to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Uphold high standards of confidentiality, discretion, and integrity, particularly with respect to all sensitive and/or confidential firm and client information to which this position will have access.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting financial systems, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, report development tools, and financial application management.
- Proficient in SQL, SSRS, VBA, XML, and advanced Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information.
- Experience maintaining legal financial applications (3E, Intapp Suite).
- Background leading automation or process improvement initiatives.
Salary Range: $122k-$153k based on experience level
