Financial Risk Manager
JustinBradley’s client is a non-profit organization that brings members of the financial sector, government organizations and key stakeholders together to address and mitigate risk relating to critical financial systems across the country.
Our client is seeking a Financial Risk Manager to join their team. As part of a hands-on organization, this role combines program management with direct execution of the analytical and operational deliverables relating to core banking operations. The Financial Risk Manager will plan and execute risk initiatives, lead and facilitate teams in a high-profile environment, communicating with the upper levels of U.S. government and industry members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project tracking, project plans, deliverables and status reporting across multiple risk initiatives.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including scheduling and facilitating workshops and briefings.
- Prepare high-quality presentations and communications for senior leaders and government regulators.
- Research, analyze, and prepare deliverables as it relates to the risk initiatives.
- Monitor emerging risks, trends relating to financial system resilience.
Key Qualifications And Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent work experience in related fields
- Knowledge of payments, clearing, treasury functions in large financial institutions is required
- Hands-on analytical experience
- Must be able to qualify for secret level clearance
- Background Check is required
