Controller
JustinBradley’s client is a fast-growing pharmacy based in Tennessee. Serving clients across multiple states, the company is quickly establishing itself as a reputable firm that delivers exceptional service.
Reporting to the CEO, the Controller will play a vital role in the day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reporting and analysis, and working side by side with senior management to position the company for further growth. They will enjoy being hands on and building strong relationships across this entrepreneurial organization.
The Controller will work alongside leadership in the office three days a week.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead period end close activities and procedures including recording adjusting journal entries and reviewing account reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate entity level financial reports and consolidated financial statements
- Conduct analysis over financial results and other operational metrics
- Accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and recording of day-to-day transactional accounting activities
- Work with external advisors to complete tax filings and other reporting requirements
- Assist management in the preparation of the annual budget and forecast. Periodically update the forecast and conduct analysis over budget to actual results
Highlighted Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- A CPA is required
- Lead the accounting function in an entrepreneurial environment is highly desired
- Working knowledge and skill using QuickBooks Online is desired
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Ability to work in office three days a week
