Director of Finance
JustinBradley’s client, a Rosslyn based, full-stack quantum hardware and software company is seeking a Director of Finance to join their team. The organization is on a mission to accelerate the value of quantum computing for real-world business solutions, delivering the future of quantum computing, today. The company delivers accessible and affordable full-stack solutions with real-world industrial applications, using photonic-based quantum entropy, which can be used anywhere and with little to no training, operates at normal room temperatures and low power.
The ideal candidate for the Director of Finance will have the experience to manage the Company’s day-to-day finance and accounting activities. The Director of Finance will work closely with the CFO to oversee daily accounting operations, FP&A functions, external financial reporting, and process development and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in finance leadership, with a demonstrated history of elevating teams and scaling processes. Highlighted Responsibilities:

Transform the finance function through people, process and technology changes to meet the Company’s needs while evolving from hyper growth to established business.

Direct all aspects of the Accounting function for the Company’s various entities, including all aspects of the close process from transaction entry to reporting.

Own the general ledger and all subledgers, ensuring timely and accurate results.

Manage day-to-day activities for procurement, accounts payable, cash management, and customer collections, while actively supporting the HR function with payroll processing.

Oversee external financial reporting, including consolidated financial statement preparation, regulatory compliance, –SEC financial filings, and technical accounting guidance.

Manage relationship with external auditors, coordinating quarterly reviews and the Company’s annual audit.

Responsible for all FP&A deliverables, including budget, forecasting, business case analysis, and internal management reporting.
A well-qualified candidate will possess the following:

Bachelors degree in Finance and Accounting required; Masters degree preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and FP&A responsibilities.

Extensive knowledge of US GAAP & Sarbanes-Oxley and experience working with Big Four auditors.

Advanced knowledge and experience utilizing Microsoft Excel including use of VBA/macros.

Public company accounting experience preferred.

CPA license preferred.
