JustinBradley Turns 10—How We Got Here
Beth Monroe started JustinBradley in 2002 with the intent on providing a level of service and individualized focus on clients previously unseen in the staffing industry. Beth already knew the finance and accounting search and staffing business from her experience as President of Don Richard Associates and Chief Operating and Chief Development Officer of ACSYS.
By 2002, there had been a lot of rollups in the staffing industry. Many of the local and regional firms became branches of national and global companies. The economy was still weak, following an eight month recession in 2001. Khristie Andrus (who worked with Beth at Don Richard) and Andrew Chase joined Beth to round out her start-up team. They spent the first four months preparing JustinBradley’s infrastructure, interviewing financial professionals and ensuring everything was in place to provide outstanding recruiting and interim staffing service.
Three years later, Michelle Herrity joined JustinBradley as Director of Human Resources to support our commitment to client service through well trained employees. This position was unusual for a small company, but necessary to support the hiring, training and retaining staff that had to become paramount. Michelle’s contributions led to JustinBradley awards for training initiatives and as a semi-finalist for the National Capital Ethics Award.
In 2007, Julien Bois, previously a Manager at global staffing firm Randstad, dove in headfirst as Director of Operations to lead Recruiting and Interim Staffing Operations. Julien’s leadership and hands-on involvement in searches allowed Beth and Andy to attend to growing our Executive Search and Project Solutions business lines.
JustinBradley extended its geographic reach in 2009, accepting an invitation to join NBN, a national affiliation of specialty finance and accounting placement firms. The affiliation provides us a presence to serve our clients in over 50 cities.
From 3 employees in 2002 to over 60 in 2012, JustinBradley continues to strengthen its base and grow in new directions.
